We made it. We're going to finish the book of Joshua today. So we made it. Patrick's very excited

for that. So it'll be, it's going to be good. This is a, this has been an awesome book. And I'm actually,

the last chapter, chapter 24, kind of how the Lord wraps up this book.'s very very interesting it's i'm still i'm still

actually asking the lord why he never appointed anyone after joshua and i don't have a good answer yet

um but it seems like after every transition of leadership there's always someone next to the lord

raises up except except in Joshua's

instance. And I don't quite, I haven't quite figured out why other than Joshua is a type or a

foreshadowing of Christ. Remember, his name, his name in Hebrew in Greek would be Jesus. And so in the whole book models what Jesus is doing

for us by conquering and leading and fighting for us. But so that may just be that simple that

there is no one after Jesus. Jesus is it. But in any case, I think we might see that in the book of judges towards the end of this.

So it's going to be kind of interesting.

Well, let's pray and we'll dive right in.

Father, I just thank you so much for this time together.

And Lord, I pray that you would teach us everything out of the book of Joshua.

God, I thank you for this study.

Thank you for taking us through

this verse by verse. Thank you for this past year that we've been in this book. Lord, it's been

an amazing opportunity to sit and to learn from you. And God, we just pray that the lessons out of the

book of Joshua would not be wasted on us. That God, each one of us would wake up and choose this day to serve you, God.

And Lord, we thank you that you are warring for us, you are fighting for us,

you are leading us, you are conquering for us.

And God, I just pray that you'd anoint this time together
