By way of review in episode two, we talked about how Psalm 83 is both a prayer and a prophecy.

I identified the Arab Confederacy in Psalm 83 verses 6 through 8, an inner circle of countries that share common borders of Israel, which would include Lebanon, where Hezbollah are, Syria, Iraq, Jordan, the Palestinians would be involved, Saudi Arabia, likely Egypt as well, and the Gaza area where Hamas are ancient Felicia.

We also talked about the plot of this Confederacy, which in Psalm 83 verse 4 tells us,

they have said, come and let us cut them off from being a nation.

The name of Israel may be remembered no more. In other words,

the Arab Confederacy wants to wipe Israel off of the map. As I concluded episode two, I said

that in this episode, episode, episode three, there are a few important points within the Psalm

that I wanted to cover. So I'm going to go ahead and do that before we get into the petition

aspect of the Psalm. We'll start with the sheltered ones of Psalm 83, verse three, verse tells us that they, the

Arab Confederacy, have taken crafty counsel against your people, that would be the nation of Israel,

and consulted together against your sheltered ones. It seems to be a subset within the nation of Israel.

Who are they?

They're also referred to in some translations as hidden ones, treasured ones, precious ones, cherished ones.

Let's take a look at who this group could be.

The identity of the treasured ones is a question that I've received several emails on through

the years.
