This would be my take on Alex's question.

You know, when you look at Melchizedek and you consider how Hebrews talks about him, having

neither father nor mother beginning of days nor end of life.

Now is the author of Hebrews saying, you know, he thinks Melchizedic is an eternal person and

that he really had no father, biological

father or mother.

I don't think that's what he's suggesting.

I think what he's doing is he's talking about how he's being presented to us in the text.

rest and summing it all up we we talked about the steady drumbeat throughout the passage

throughout those 11 chapters which is is that God always, always keeps

his promises. Now, today, we're going to conclude the second book of the Bible, Joshua.

All right, first book, the Torah, second book, Joshua, we're about to go to judges.
