Right. So if we take these statements in conjunction with the things that Sam was just talking about, how there are all these kings and Israel is overwhelmingly outnumbered and outmanned, this starts to look like the conquest of Egypt.

So that in the same way that the Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart, now he's hardened

the hearts of the kings, and in the same way that Egypt seemed invincible.

So also all these kings and their armies seemed invincible.
