Welcome to Searchlight. A survey through scripture with Pastor John Corson. It is our desire to bring you a

systematic study of the entire Bible chapter by chapter book by book.

On our last searchlight program, we looked at an interesting aspect of the right of Jesus to the throne of David.

As we were studying, we saw an obscure law that says that if a man has no sons,

his daughters would receive the inheritance.

From here, John had us look at the legal... daughters would receive the inheritance.

From here, John had us look at the legal line of Jesus through Joseph.

This line shows that Jesus has the legal right to the throne,

but there was a problem spiritually, but there was a problem spiritually as there was a curse on this

lineage because of Konaia. But Jesus has the right to the throne spiritually

because of the lineage of Mary which was untouched by the curse.
