In our study through the book of Joshua, we are now at the point where the promised land is being divided among the tribes. The land has been conquered, and now everyone is getting their allotment.

As we left off on our last program in Chapter 17,

we saw the tribe of Joseph complaining that they didn't get enough

land because they are a great people.

Joshua first harshly challenges them to take the mountain country if they think they are so great.

As we join Pastor John today, we also see that Joshua has another approach with the people

of Israel, with the explanation of both approaches, here now is,

Then Joshua, verse 17, spoke to those guys. the sons of Joseph Ephraim Manassa, saying,

thou art a great people and hast great power.

Thou shalt not have one lot only, but the mountain shall be thine.

For it is a wood, and thou shalt cut it down.

And thine outgoings of it shall be thine.
