On this episode, we have some baseball news as you know.

The first of what will probably be many trades in the next week or so leading into the trade deadline. So say you. That's what I say. Some people are saying they're done. I'm going to speak more trades into these. I'm not going to say they're good trades. I'm just going to say there's going to be a lot of them. I think we're going to get a volume deadline.

It might not be a good deadline.

It might just be a volume deadline.

But Josh Naylor on the move, we'll talk about that. Hodge Bradley sent to AAA. We'll talk about what that means for his long-term future. Maybe he's a guy that's on the move next week as well. We're going to take a look at some long view considerations for a few prospects and a rookie that has been hurt for most of the year in Roki Sasaki. Also a pop-up guy in Quinn Priester. Got a weekend waiver preview. And our senior hot dog correspondent, Niv Shah, joins us a little bit later on in the show to review the Cincinnati dog. So, a lot of ground to cover, E know, some show news off the top. We will have a

live stream again this year for the trade deadline. I'll make sure to get that on the YouTube page to start the week so you can make sure you hit the button. You'll know when we go live. We're going to go live an hour before the deadline. So this year, the trade deadline is Thursday, July 31st, six Eastern, we are going to go live at 5 Eastern, and we're going to hang on probably for 15 or 20 minutes

afterwards in case we get the Justin Verlander to Houston trade that pops after time seemingly

passes, right?

I don't think we're going to get one of those, but we have to leave the door open for it.

There was an article about the trade deadline that was sort of just like generalities about like,

you know, oh, this guy did it from, you know, while his son was being born, did a trade,

and this guy did a trade while he was in the hospital for a procedure and all this stuff.

But there was one line in there about one trade i wish i

could remember it better but it was like we didn't actually get that one done before the deadline

and i'm like you shouldn't admit okay so i mean they they have to like submit some form of the trade before the deadline, but I guess there can be some haggling that happens after.

I don't know.

Yeah, I don't really understand if you can have contingencies in the deal that you finalize after and that's the okay to keep messing with part or what exactly they can

get away with but that was a surprising thing to hear about.
