Good-day, humans. Welcome to the safe space for dangerous ideas. I'm currently at London,

old London town, old blighty, as we like to call it, for a whistlestop tour. It's really a

whistle stop around the world tour, hustling the podcast, encouraging people to join the uncomfortable

conversations community. I've been doing a bunch of podcasts all over the place. You'll see me pop up on some of the biggies. I went to LA for a day,

went to San Francisco for a day, went to New York for a day, then Austin for a day, and then back

to New York for a day, and then London for a couple of days. Let me tell you, a little piece of advice, don't do that.

Don't do that.

Maybe more than a day in each place would be advisable.

Nonetheless, I want to bring you this now while I'm away, which is a conversation that

I just had with the fifth column guys.

Many of you may know this podcast.

They're a fabulous trio. I don't know why. I feel like I'm speaking like Ed Sullivan. A fabulous

trio of young gentlemen, ladies and gentlemen, the fifth column. They are based in New York City.

And while I'm in town, every time I'm there, I always want to stop by their

studios and, you know, squeeze their little cheeks and look at their rosy little faces, with

the exception of one of them, Camille, who has fled New York for sunnier climbs in California.

Nonetheless, enough about them. Let's talk about me, which is what I did too much of on their

very show a few months before

my departure from legacy media.

And some keen observers noticed at the time that I parted ways with my ABC radio show that

just a few months prior, I'd been hinting at some possible issues at the

broadcaster, or at least at my tenure at the broadcaster, on their very show. So we recap that,
