I think I say in my chat with Jules Holland that I first met him when I was invited to sit in the audience of later.

And that's such an enjoyable experience and found him to be what he is, which is wonderfully open and friendly. Since then, we've run into each other a few times

and come to think of him as a bit of a friend. So I was delighted to invite him on here. He is an

encyclopedia of music. And what I love about him is that it's all sorts of music.

He's so open and so knowledgeable about all sorts.

In this chat, we talk about his beginnings.

We talk about meeting Glenn Tilbrook, Chris Difford, about squeeze, about being managed by Miles Copeland, going to America back in the days before mobiles, before faxes, before emails. We come right up to date via the tube, of course, and the police and things like that.
