As law enforcement occupied the Ramsey’s home in the aftermath of what appeared to be an audacious kidnapping by an unknown intruder, they patiently waited for a call instructing the family how to deliver the ransom money in exchange for JonBenet’s safe return. But when it didn’t come, a more thorough search of the house revealed a harrowing discovery in the basement that would change the course of the investigation.

In the last episode, we performed an in-depth analysis of the kidnappers' ransom note
