I was so lucky to get a last second booking with him when he is in the middle of so much

press and so much chaos of a new show launching, new show getting curious of Jonathan Mattness

on Netflix.

It's really, really fun and really good.

You should definitely check it out.

And traveling, just being so busy and made time for me in all of that and sat down and

had probably the most authentic heart to heart I've had on this podcast.

Just bad as whole soul for us and talk to me about so many important and beautiful issues

as well as some things that were really difficult to say.

And I admire him so much for just saying them with so much honesty and humanity.

It's a side to Jonathan that maybe not all of us have seen very much and a side that

is important to see to understand someone's whole humanity beyond just the persona that

maybe we have grown to understand them by or maybe we enjoy.

And it's just it was so beautiful that I was left kind of like tingling afterwards.

So we talk about things like Jonathan being bullied at school or Jonathan's experience

with drugs and sex and sadness and mental health and being diagnosed so young with HIV

in a time where we had no real representation around it, not enough information, so much

stigma, so little access to any kind of healthcare which so many people are still in that situation.
