Due west of Philadelphia lies this semi-rural historic cemetery that's very old, named Mount Moriah Cemetery.

It's very cool looking Gothic as they come, being built in the mid-1800s.

Today, it has over 150,000 burials.

Now, the cemetery stopped, accepting cold ones around 2011.

So in the past 15 years, it's fallen into disrepair and disuse,

Now, there is a group that does try to look after the plots and gravestones at Mount Moriah

to be respected. A non-profit organization, name of the Friends of Mount Moriah Cemetery,

does its best to maintain graves, clear brush, keep the area neat and tidy. Though it is the largest

there are people there regularly trying to keep it sort of neat and tidy. And so it was that

on November 7th, 2025, they were there, you know, sweeping up the leaves as this was mid-autom.

And that day, a week after Halloween, the Yaden Borough Police Department, they got a call

from a member of the Friends of Mount Moriah Cemetery.

The member was quite concerned with what they had found in the graveyard.
