He serves on the pastoral staff at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship, a non-denominational church in Dallas, Texas, with his pastor, I love this, his friend and his father, Dr. Tony Evans. Jonathan has roles in both the local church and the national ministry, the urban alternative. Jonathan, so great to meet you. Welcome to the program. Yeah, it's great to be here, man. Thanks for having me. Yeah, looking forward to our conversation. We love to start every day, Jonathan, talking scripture. What's the Lord been talking to you about these days? Well, you know, that's a good question.

And one of the things for me is balancing family and ministry, making sure that my family,

it doesn't feel like they're competing with my ministry, that they recognize that they're my

primary ministry.

And so God has been teaching me.

I know Proverbs 11 once is a false balance is an abomination to the Lord, but a just weight is his delight.

And so you can have a balance, and that balance be false is what it's in.
