This one does not end well. A father of three tragically lost his life after falling 250 feet from a cliff.

While operating a drone on a small island in South Devon, the inquest heard that Giles Bott from Exeter had been walking near the cliff edge when he became distracted by his drone and failed to notice the drop off.

250 feet worth. They concluded the death was an accident.

The court had heard that he had been battling along COVID, which had taken a toll on both

his health and his business, but the illness led to the collapse of his London-based shop, a fitting

business. He also had experienced the emotional strain of a relationship breakdown, the

death of his father, close friend, who was his business partner, so he picked up the hobby of

flying a drone. All right. His mother told the inquest that despite his struggles, he remained

optimistic and had a warm, affectionate nature. He went out, I guess, with a couple friends.

He was getting out of his van, and he was never heard from again.

After one other man he knew, he spotted on the trail.

So his mother reported him missing three days later, and they finally found him.

A full search involving police, coast guard, lifeboat was launched, and his body was

discovered on the rocks beneath the towering 250-foot cliff. The drone was found nearby. Our question,
