And the Lucy Barnard, welcome back to Papa Bear hikes.

0:17.0

Thank you.

And at Antra I talked about, you know, the story of you hiking.

0:24.0

You know, obviously you didn't start at the southern tip of South America to hike all the way up to your friends

0:29.0

party there, but I found that very interesting.

0:33.3

I said, wow, that's kind of cool.

0:34.8

I'm gonna go to this party and I'm gonna walk there.

0:37.0

I'm gonna walk to get myself there.

0:38.9

And I gotta tell you that from all the kilometers

0:41.1

that I've done, the easiest kilometers to do have been the ones where I know that I've got someone that I'm walking to in the Latin American areas. bounce in my step if I know that when I get off this trail in a day or two or three days,

1:31.6

there's somebody I know waiting for me or there's even

1:34.1

just a warm bed I'm going to be able to climb into in a hot shower and a good meal to eat.

1:39.2

A little bit more bounce in your step, right? A little bit more hey, you know know I'll put in those extra miles with a

1:44.0

smile on my face. The other trip that I've just recently moved back into is having a

1:51.3

penultimate breakfast. So I find that my body does so much better if I eat

1:56.6

dinner at breakfast time and then I just work my way down to the smallest food

2:01.3

portion for dinner and I sleep better that way too rather than having a big heavy meal in my belly.

2:06.0

And so nowadays I will carry something ridiculous in my pack all the way until the second last morning because I feel like that is the morning when I just need a reason to get out of bed.

2:18.6

I think the final morning that's cheating because you know you're getting into town that's exciting but for some

2:24.0

reason mentally that one's tough for me and the other day I was carrying a vegetable
