but also just kind of the level of involvement that the speaker has when it comes to the task force

investigating the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump.

So Mike Johnson has installed several key staffers on the assassination task force, which Congress created just a couple weeks ago.

Frederick Hill, who is an alum of Daryl Issa, somebody that keyed in Daryl Issa's chairmanship

of the Oversight Committee back in the day, will be the staff director.

Hill has kind of a, I don't know about rare, but an interesting

background to somebody who was involved in communications and strategy and oversight. Lauren Holmes,

who is also an oversight alum and a George Mason University Law School graduate, will be deputy staff director. Now,
