shutdown. It's Johnson versus Jeffries. Number two, Republicans shrug off market volatility. And number

three, Ted Cruz goes all in on spectrum. All right, Jake, let's get to it. We are leading the

top with a look at the latest on government funding. We are just

three days until the first funding deadline of the Trump era. And Speaker Mike Johnson and

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries are locked in a high-stakes power struggle with a government

shutdown on the line. We write this morning a really interesting

look here at how Johnson and in particular President Donald Trump and his team are really

working it hard to try and move forward with a year-long government funding bill that they're going to need every single Republican they can

get to move forward.

Yeah, it's a huge day.

And Bres remind me last night that we always say it's a huge day for Johnson.

And they can't all be huge days.

First of all, he is appearing on stage at the conference, the Punch

Bowl News invite only event today in D.C. So that will be a very newsy event. And so is
