Hey folks, welcome to the Dark Horse Podcast. I am Brett Weinstein your host and I am sitting with John Wood Jr

0:06.6

who is National Leader and Media Director at Better Angels. John, welcome to the Dark Horse Podcast.

0:12.9

It's great to be back, Brett. Well, I say great to be back, of course. Folks will not know that I am back at this point.

0:19.7

They will not know. I've already started us on a tangent, have I not?

0:22.8

You have started us on a tangent. Yes, we, in fact, did do a prior conversation, which I regarded as

0:29.0

absolutely excellent, but it was our first conversation in the studio and the

0:35.7

studio did not function up to par. So I'm sad to say that that footage is not

1:22.0

signal I'm giving off, or it might just be a function of the fact that for whatever reason,

1:28.8

Murphy's Law suggests that because I need to use technology, so consistent me in my life,

1:35.2

I cannot ever get it to actually work well because I'm destined to be frustrated in that

1:41.1

relationship, you know, in an everlasting way. And to frustrate other people around me in the

1:45.6

process. So no particular reason for it I can come up with, but feel free to blame me. Very

1:50.8

interesting for explanation. Murphy's Law has never worked for me, which I find interesting.

1:56.2

Technology is pretty good. I'm fine around tech, so probably that was you and not me. I find mirrors

2:02.8

don't work. They break upon you. So I don't know what that's about exactly, but it's either an
