My parents were probably functioning in the alcoholics.

It's a disease and it's hereditary. I think I feel like I had it and so I would poke at it for years.

I'm like I'm fine.

Popin, poke and poke and then one day it goes,

and you're like, oh shit, and I need a drink too.

So I could stop on a dime. That was my defense really.

Oh, it's right, I could stop. And I would, I'd stop. I would, you know, do whatever

project, pilot, a TV show, whatever. And then I would reward myself with, okay, I want to do it. And it just got harder and harder to stop and

start again and mostly alcohol then like later you use ecstasy and this kind of

stuff and there's this drug called GHB which was is lethal and that's

what I was that's what I had when I got a DUI.

I was so out of it they didn't take a mug shot. Thank God. I could have died and I could have killed people.

And you know what I did? I went home and I sat in my office and I drank another bottle wine.

No, it was bottom, but I didn't really, I didn't get it.

The kids, especially Jody Sweet, are getting these gigantic laughs,

and I'm like getting none. You can't even hear my dialogue people laughing at them and I slowly like if you're ready one of those readings would just suck and you're like I'm like sliding the table and I ran we were at the Century Plaza Hotel and never forget.

And I ran out to the lobby and I had a court, I jammed the quarter and thing,

and they called my age, he was like,

Get me to F off this show, it's a kitty show, you know.

And I'm here to say I was wrong about that one. But we lacked in

sophistication. We had just a ton of sweetness and the brain moved to the

side and it left room to just feel something wholesome and good and like a good home-cooked meal I think.
