New digs. John came in here. He was like, why why you all upgraded since last time i was here now

23 so john just you know what made the ravens the fit for you to come back um honestly like

just the the from the last time i was here um it just felt like home yeah i mean i just felt like

me getting that opportunity to come back.

It was like a no-brainer.

Just being around the guys and just being in this environment, it just, I feel like I belong here.

So, as you went through the free agency process, you know, you were somebody, the Ravens clearly went into this offseason saying, we want to improve the offensive line.

And you were a guy that they targeted in that process.

Take us through the conversations that you had with the Ravens during free agency that

ultimately led to you coming back here.

Yeah.

Their main thing was just like just bringing that, that tenacity back, I guess you can call it and and just in just like being

physical and just trying to be a dominant force um and and that's that's basically all they was telling me

um everything that they wanted me to bring to the table and i was just like yeah look i'm gonna do

everything i can for y'all man because it's like i said like this is like home and it's like

the guys that are in this building,

and they're all like my brother.

So it's like, I got to go crazy for these dudes. So, like, I think the reason they brought me here is the reason, like, I feel like I belong in a sense. Do you feel like there's a special connection? you're kind of speaking to this and I'm curious like do you feel like there's a special connection that you have with the Ravens organization?

I remember when you were here the first time you talked about coming here. And when you signed here, coming from the Raiders feeling like you didn't really have confidence at that point. And then you came here and then you blossomed. You ended up becoming a start. You played at a high level. You get the big contract, and like all those things kind of converged here and happened here.
