And today we're starting off with John Michael Schmitz, the 6'4-320-pound center, 26 years old and was the second round pick.

He's heading into year three.

JMS just hasn't taken the steps to be the center that we hope to be coming out of Minnesota.

You want to know something that's messed up, though, is the Giants were so bad last year that on our award show at the end of the year,

I voted GMS Most Improved because there's really no one else who fits the category.

And here's how you know no one fit the category.

Micah MacThadden got the fan vote for Most Improved two years in a row.

That's impossible to win it two years in a row.

I hope everyone is taking Prozac with this episode.

But I don't think that it's so bad.

John Michael Smith hasn't panned out to be what they hoped he would be.

But again, I don't think that he's like horrendously bad.

I think that he's a below average starter right now.

And again, his life has not been made easy either.

Anybody who's operated on this team in the last two years has not had an easy life.

Anyone that's operated on this offense in the last two years has not had an easy life.

John Michael Smith has hands in his butt under center and he's had Daniel Jadones, Tyrod Taylor,

Tommy DeVito, Drew Locke. I mean, it hasn't been easy for anybody. So I don't want to just, you know,

blanket carpet, carpet bomb John Michael Schmitz is being a bad player. He hasn't been what we expected

him to be. He hasn't been, you know, good.

But there are much worse problems on this offense.
