Labor shadow Chancellor John McDonnell is not resting. He wants Labor to be ready for

an election at any time. So he's touring the country

in the next few weeks, holding events, talking to members of the public and discussing the ideas

that will form the basis of Labour's offer to the country at the next election. And he's

specifically focusing on towns that he says have been held back by a lack of investment. One such

place is Hastings in the Sussex where he held his
