That's how many years he had the job.

Brooklyn and Los Angeles passed away at the age of 94 at his home in Hidden Hills.

A bit of a shock, although we learned earlier in the show from Rick Monday, that he had not been doing well the last several weeks.

They have not reported any cause of death.

But we'll play you a montage of some of his calls from over the years in the assorted sports he was involved with,

obviously primarily the Dodgers, but also NFL football and pro golf.

That will come up at about 30 minutes.

In the early morning hours on Sunday, July 31st, a group of four robbers decided that they were going to knock off a liquor store in Norco. Well, the man that

owns that liquor store, his name is Craig Cope. He was behind the counter. And if you haven't seen

the video by now, it's an all-time keeper. When he saw that man come in with the gun in the air,

he opened fire with his shotgun. And he got that guy on the shoulder,

I guess in the arm, and he ran out screaming and those guys took off and they were arrested some time later
