Well, yesterday there was a press conference at the District Attorney's Office in Riverside,

one particular criminal, but to point out that this particular criminal is indicative of California's

lax criminal justice, which we have watched now for the better part of 10 years

on the decline due to legislation, mostly coming out of Sacramento, sometimes out of the ballot

box such as Prop 47, to make sure that our jails and prisons are fairly empty.

That's really where all this is going to.

It's the case of Timothy Bethel, and he committed crimes in both counties and Tulare and Riverside.

And just quick rundown of what he's done with his life.

He's only 31 years old.

He was sentenced to five years plus in state prison, pleaded guilty to 17 felony counts,

theft, burglary, vandalism, nine businesses he went after in Vassalia. But listen to his record,

Bethel was convicted of a felony drug offense in 2014 in Fresno County.

He then pleaded guilty to 14 felonies, vandalizing and stealing from seven

Basalia businesses in 2021.
