Of course, she knew what was coming, because somebody

had tipped her off that sheriff's deputies and some federal agents were going to do a raid on

her house to look for evidence involving a no-bid contract that one of her good friends,

and they had set up this, it's a nonprofit,

they had set up this hotline for people who suffer sexual harassment

on the buses and trains of L.A.,

which happens all the time because you have mostly mental patients and drug addicts

on the trains, and they're mostly guys. And so that behavior is going on all the time.

The thing is, I guess they didn't publicize it at all. Hardly anybody ever called.

Peace over violence would submit these public numbers showing that they took thousands of calls in, but in reality,

it was very few.
