make deals to truck goods with whoever they wish. This affected a lot of industries.

Yeah, they gave carve-outs, and remember Uber and Lyft put that proposition on the ballot that passed to give them a carve-out.

But, you know, carve-outs were just part of a lobbying effort.

But it didn't happen for the independent truckers.

Apparently, there was an injunction in place since 2020 that prevented the law from being enforced.
