And she is with ABC News.

She's based in Jerusalem because it's what 11 o'clock at night there now and there's

been a lot of action in the last 24 hours.

It's been a dramatic evening here.

First Hamas released a video of three of the Israeli hostages, three of the large group of 239.

In that video, one woman pleading and at the end yelling at the Israeli prime minister, that he has failed them, that he

was responsible for the attack, that he needs to, you know, release the, do, you know, be part of a

prisoner exchange deal and release Hamas and Palestinians that are jailed in Israel in exchange for their release.

This was supposed to set the tone really for the night here.

And, you know, these videos are kind of a type of psychological warfare by Hamas where they raise the hope of families,

but they're also trying to increase the pressure on the prime minister to stop the ground incursion,

which began a few days ago and exchange these prisoners and, you know, maybe call off a larger war in the Gaza Strip.

But then it was eclipsed by, from Israel, that during the ground invasion, today on day three,

that the soldiers had actually rescued one of the Israeli soldiers that was taken captive on that terrible massacre on October 7th.

She's a young woman who was in the unit that was supposed to be watching, the Gaza border,

and she is now home safely, and there's, you know, that has kind of brought some, maybe a spark of, a small spark of joy in what has been, you know, really the darkest, some of the darkest days in Israel's history, the last three weeks.
