Welcome, everybody. What a show we got today. We're going to have the sheriff of Riverside County on this show in an hour to talk about what they're doing about fentanyl.

Fentil, of course, has become a big deal. You probably recall a couple of kids OD'd on it in Hollywood High School recently.

They don't do anything in Sacramento, so you can't look there for any kind of help.

There was a bill that would have gone after drug dealers who sell these fentanyl products.

The problem is people are ingesting the product unknowingly.

In several cases, they thought they were just getting oxycodone, but it was laced with fentanyl.

And it doesn't kill everybody, but in some cases every now and then, it kills a person.

So out Riverside County, the DA out there, along with the sheriff, have combined to try to do something about the fentanyl problems.

So Sheriff Chad Bianco will join us in an hour.

Later after that, we are going to talk to a woman whose husband was beaten

after a confrontation with two homeless men in Studio City. They had set up, I saw this

story on TV last night, and I was trying to get a better idea. They set up a shelter in an

embankment just beneath their home in the hills of Studio

Cities you have to kind of imagine that they were sort of overlooking the encampment

and the husband finally went out there and told them look you can't stay here and well

one of them got outraged and he came and he assaulted the homeowner.

The husband has a fractured scapula and three posterior ribs broken and a collapsed lung,

according to the wife. She will join us after four o'clock. What is the breaking point, particularly when it comes to people and how they

handle this problem and how they vote on the politicians supposed to handle this problem?

Where is it? We've talked about so many of these kinds of stories over the last couple of years.

And still, here we are. Homelessness is a big issue on people's minds, but they never do anything about it.

You know, we have a story that's covered for a couple of days, and then the media moves on.
