And we started the day with an earthquake that only Deborah felt.

There were some other people that felt it.

I looked online.

She put a plea on our group text and nobody else felt it.

It was so we thought, well.

Exactly. And my dogs felt it as well. My dogs, I think they were actually, for the first time,

I think my dogs were more concerned about this one than I was even.

How do you determine a dog's concern? Well, because they started barking and they were, they started just hauling down the stairs because they were so scared.

And then I'm trying to grab them.

Were they chasing you?

No, I was trying to chase them because I was afraid.

Because again, with earthquakes, you never know what starts as really teeny can turn into something really big.

Or you can have a small earthquake followed by a large one.

So I had these visions of my dogs running down the stairs and then the roof caving in.

So they run down barking. You run down screaming. Then what when you get to the bottom of the stairs?

Now what happens? Well, actually, mid-stairs, they turned around and came to me because they were scared.

I comforted them. I see. We did a group paddle.
