We're going to play some Gavin Newsom audio in a moment, but a story that,

and I don't know why, kind of depressed me when I saw it. As you know, this weekend, John,

is a super holiday getaway weekend. Sure. We have Passover and we have Easter. And on the subject of Easter, a story popped up in the Washington Times that, as I just said,

kind of depressed me. As you know, one of the staples at Easter is the egg, clearly, obviously,

the symbol of rebirth. It has traditions going way back in Christianity where apparently

they died eggs many, many years ago. Oh, I didn't know that.

Yeah, it's part of a tradition at Easter.

Says here in the story, early followers in Mesopotamia adopted the tradition of dying eggs.

I'm coloring eggs tonight.
