And as an Egyptologist, I obtained his degree from Yale five years before I did in 1998 and has been the William Bill Gaye chair

of Egyptology. He can correct me on that in a second, but at BYU ever since. And so welcome, Dr. Geek. Good to be here. Why don't you tell them a little bit about yourself? Well, first of all, just say we're in Cairo. We're sitting in a hotel room in Cairo right now. Well, in Geiza, actually, near the pyramids, it seemed like if we're going to do Exodus to Egyptologists in Egypt,

might be a great thing.

And at the base of the pyramid, they're right over there.

Yeah, yeah, just across the street.

So, yes, as you said, I'm the William Gilgillay Research Chair at, or William Bill Gay Research Professor at at Birmingham University.

I have been doing Egyptology a long time now.

Yeah, yeah.

That's true for a very long time.

Well, so what we're going to talk about today is really the end of kind of that exodus story.

Now, we're not getting to Sinai, that's next week, but the end of that Exodus story,

because we start with the actual Red Sea crossing and so on.

So we're going to not talk about everything in there, but whatever things Dr. Gie would like to talk about.
