I just drove back from Virginia.

Yesterday we had a remembrance for my mother-in-law.

If you haven't been around, you wouldn't know, but my mother-in-law. If you haven't been around, you wouldn't know,

but my mother-in-law recently passed away.

And before she passed away,

she was involved in the planning of what she wanted to have happen after she passed.

And part of that was not having a funeral, having a cremation, and then having the ash and the urn displayed with photos at a remembrance where friends and family gathered and cried together and we watched slide shows of family photos.

And that's the first remembrance I've ever been to.

And I've been to a number of funerals, but never a remembrance.

And I have to say, I kind of like it better.
