Well, we have another important show for you today.

You know, every single person is walking around with an accumulated measure of pain in their souls.

The question is, how do we deal with how we feel?

Many people turn to their drug of choice, eating, drinking, shopping, scrolling, consuming

pills, porn, or otherwise.

But the thing is, these things only work for a short time.

They numb us for a short time until they don't. You know, eventually you've got to consume more

and more just to feel normal until you wake up one day and you realize you're held captive

by your addiction. Well, the good news is that Jesus came to set the captives free, and maybe

today will be a day of breakthrough for you.

John Elmer joins me today to talk about his book, Freedom Starts Today, Overcoming Struggles and Addictions one day at a time. And John says this, you can be free from your struggle and much sooner than you think. So I'm going to go out on a limb here. I mean, this is a raw show. You know this. It's a no fluff zone.

I'm very raw and real every day, and I know you are too.

But this perhaps is the most raw question I've ever asked in all these years are doing this show.
