In fact, I look forward to bringing you conversations every single day that hopefully inspire you in your faith walk, that deep in your understanding of God's Word and that

heightens your awareness of his very real presence in your life.

I don't know if you caught yesterday's show. And I know friends listen to podcasts at all different

times, so you might not know what yesterday's show was. But we talked to Pastor Alan Wright.

And I opened the show saying that everybody who's a serious believer, and even those who are not,

are waiting for some kind of breakthrough because that is the nature of the Christian life. Right now, we're walking out some other promises and we're

contending for some future promises. If you miss that show, you need to go back and listen,

because he spoke a blessing over you, if you're in that time in between, which most everybody is,

and that show was a healing balm. But I want to continue the thought, the idea that all

of us are in the not yet in some way. And it is just imperative that you steward this time as an

heir, not an orphan, as someone who's blessed, not someone who's cursed. The story you tell yourself

matters so very much. In fact, the story you tell yourself

in the not yet, in the time between the promise and its fulfillment will really clearly

impact how you fare on the other side. It will impact the treasures that you take out of this

season. It'll impact if you're going to see yourself as stuck,

kind of a have not, or if you see yourself as passing through the valley of not yet.
