John Katz Matidis, I was disparaged on one of the most listened to radio programs in the nation that airs here on WABC, Bill O'Reilly at night, Monday through Friday, 9 o'clock.

You sat with him. You broke red with him and Cindy Adams at a very private gathering and dinner.

And he indicated to a national audience that I had ducked him, that I was refusing to come on

his show. You never returned this call. And would not answer the tough questions. Well, you know me.

I get accused of being like media lice. You asked me for an interview. I'm there.

So I had to have that phone call with Bill O'Reilly yesterday.

And last night, at the top of his 9 o'clock show, this is what he had to say.
