It's a sad state for us here in the Bronx. The officer served as a police officer for my precinct area, the 47th precinct.

And, you know, one of the things we put out the word to our hospitals, North Central Bronx Hospital, which

I'm chairman of the board there, as well as Jacoby Hospital, because it covers the neighborhoods

that the hospital, the city hospital serves. So we're sat and by it.

We're also, he is a, and the family is a resident here in the Bronx in Parkchester,

which was a beautiful thing to have a police officer who served the Bronx precinct, but also had him and his family.

And the Parkchester area has been thriving with the community there.

I've known the Parkchester mosque that was built in the area and how many people have brought homes there,

a lot of private homes in that area.

So we're saddened by this whole situation.

It's hit close to home.
