Then the disciples went away again to their own homes.

So once again... That seems very anticlimactic way.

This will... Right.

And this modifies our expectation of what believed meant.

Uh-huh.

Right?

And not knowing the scriptures.

Right? So St. John has this moment of awe, right, religious awe, but because they don't yet

understand the scriptures and they don't fully understand what's going on, they sort of don't

know what to do with it. They know something, something amazing and wondrous has just happened.

But I'm not sure what,

and I'm not sure what this means.

And so, what do they do?

Well, they go back to fishing.

Mostly.

So, you know, that's, I mean,

the, they had this idea that Jesus was the Messiah and he was coming into Jerusalem.

You know, he rode in on the full of the donkey and, you know, now we're going to show the Romans and then he's executed.

Right.
