So, again, St. John's reminding us of why, right? This is all based on what happened with Lazarus.

And it says the people had met him, they're talking about them meeting him as he's approaching and sort of escorting him, escorting him into the city.

And look, you know, not only did you not nab him, right, and get rid of him, but he's got this whole legion now of people following him.

Now there were certain Greeks among those who had come up to worship at the feast. Then they came to

Philip, who was from Bethsaida of Galilee, and asked him saying, sir, we wish to see Jesus.

Okay, so these Greeks showing up, believe it or not,

there's a ton of debate about this in scholarly journals about whether these are actual Greeks

or whether these are Jews who live in Greece. But it's pretty clear that these are actually Greeks right because we're given a number of

clues that may not be immediately obvious but you notice well yeah they've come there to

but they come to Philip why Why would they come to Philip?
