And as you know, the race seems to be between Rick Caruso, the real estate developer and Karen Bass, the congresswoman.

One candidate who dropped out recently is Joe Buscayano, the L.A. City Councilman, and he was the only one

out of the 15 councilmen to be fighting the homeless problem and coming up with actual common-sense

solutions for it. So he's now endorsed Rick Caruso for mayor. So let's get Joe on. Joe, how are you?

Well, listen, I think a lot of people want to know, you know, where you campaign very hard

and valiantly for over a year.

And, you know, you took a fair amount of shots at Caruso when you were on stage

during the debates.

And I guess people wonder, okay, what's the process you go through where you decide, you know,

I'm going to endorse Caruso rather than run against him?

Well, as you mentioned, I fought hard for this.

This is an opportunity to change direction of the city of Los Angeles.
