It was a weekend of shootings.

Oh, well, the big one, of course, Saturday afternoon in Buffalo, New York, when an 18-year-old

wearing body armor, live streaming with a helmet camera, opened fire in a grocery store

called Topps Friendly Market in a predominantly black neighborhood of Buffalo, New York.

Aaron Kuterski, ABC News, is in Buffalo with more on the story of what we know today.

Aaron, what's the latest?

Well, I'm looking at the market now.

It's still a crime scene.

FBI technicians and their blue booties have been going in and out all day,

trying to process what authorities say guys is a pretty grim scene, as you might imagine, with 10 people dead.

Three of them were shot in the parking lot here, and then the shooter moved inside, shot two more before he was confronted with a security guard, who opened fire on him, but to no avail because he was wearing body armor, shot a

security guard, and then continued the rampage inside while people were, you know, running through

the deli to get out. Another guy hid in a freezer to try and avoid the gunfire, just harrowing,

harrowing stuff. And now, you know, the familiar sidewalk vigils have cropped up. And

remarkably, a number of nonprofits have been out here all day through the rain, giving out food to

the community. Because until this market opened, there was not a grocery store in this,

in this part of town. So it's a real food desert and and with the

closed continues to be so of the nonprofit groups are stepping in but we've learned an awful lot

today about this attack and and the alleged shooter Peyton jendron 18 years old from three hours

away near Binghamton new york who planned this for at least two months.
