All right, well, I'll start with this story. I was driving in a truck some years ago

with an evangelical leader, not to name drop,

kind of a somebody pretty well known and we were driving in the truck

and he asked this question so how are you doing how many of you don't even know how to

answer that question so we ask that you're like I don't know how am I doing I'm

doing good and bad.

That's always the honest answer.

I said, well, I said, well, you know,

we're in a rough season, there's a lot going on,

it's kind of complicated, but I'm sure it's going to be over,

and then as soon as we get through this season everything's going to be awesome.

And have you ever thought like that? Well, it's bad now, but it's all going to get better. Just wait.

The older people chuckle because they know that doesn't ever happen.

You young people are still hopeful.

I'll pop that balloon for you.

We often think it's a woeful time,

but that's okay, we'll get through it,

and then it'll be a wonderful time.
