Welcome to Searchlight, a survey through Scripture with Pastor John Corson.

It is our desire to bring you a systematic study of the entire Bible, chapter by chapter, book by book.

In our recent through the Bible studies here on Searchlight, we looked at a sad, seemingly hopeless situation.

As we looked at John chapter 19, we saw that Jesus was beaten and crucified.

Now, we already know the outcome of the story, but remember that those who were

disciples of Jesus at that time did not know what was going to happen. They did

not know about the resurrection. But in our study today, that is just what we will see. In our

study of John chapter 20, Jesus will reveal himself to his disciples after rising from the

dead. And what a glorious time it is. Let's go ahead and

join Pastor John for our teaching and revel in the resurrection. John chapter 20. We left off

seeing the body of Jesus Christ wrapped in linen and and placed in the tomb, the tomb that was purchased by and made for Joseph of Arimathea,

a rich individual residing in Jerusalem.

Interesting that his body would be wrapped in linen.
