Welcome to Searchlight, a survey through Scripture with Pastor John Corson.

It is our desire to bring you a systematic study of the entire Bible, chapter by chapter, book by book.

On our last couple of Searchlight programs, we've been talking about bearing fruit for the Lord.

It is something that all of us desire. We all want to do things in our life that have real value now and eternally.

But how can we do that? Well, last time we learned that we can only bear real fruit by abiding in Jesus.

As we join our teaching in progress today,

we will consider the highest expression of bearing fruit for Jesus. With further insight on

abiding in Jesus and bearing fruit for Jesus, here now is Pastor John. Here in then is my father glorified, verse 8, that you bear much fruit.

So shall you be my disciples.

My father wants you to bear much fruit.

As the father hath loved me, so have I loved you.

Continue in my love.

If you keep my commandments, you shall abide in my love, even as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.

Now these things I have spoken to you that my joy might remain in you and that your joy might be full.
