We live in troubling times.

There are issues internationally that are worrisome. There are situations

nationally that are confusing, and there are problems personally that often seem insurmountable.

What are we to do about these things? Well, the disciples of Jesus were in such a situation.

Things were caving in on them and they were troubled.

Then Jesus said to them, let not your heart be troubled. Over the last couple of searchlight programs,

we have been exploring why we can walk through this life without a troubled heart.

The first reason is that we have the hope of heaven.

Secondly, we know the nature of the Father.

As we join our teaching today, we are finishing up some thoughts on this second reason.

Then we will continue with several more reasons why we can have peace in the midst of troubling times.
