Welcome to Searchlight, a survey through Scripture with Pastor John Corson.

It is our desire to bring you a systematic study of the entire Bible, chapter by chapter, book by book.

The best teachers are those who don't just talk about their subject, but demonstrate it as well.

And Jesus is the master teacher, who always goes before his disciples, leading and demonstrating

before sharing truth and giving instruction.

In John chapter 13, we see Jesus doing this very thing. Jesus is about to talk to his disciples

about love, but before he talks to them, he shows them what love is like. We began looking at

this section on our last program. To put things in context, we are going to review a good portion

of that program and then move forward as we consider the amazing work of Jesus.

With our study, here now is Pastor John.

and I want you to consider this this evening.
