1:12.7	continue our study through the Book of John. On our last program we began looking at the
1:18.0	last week of the life of Jesus. On the first day of the week, the crowds waved palm
1:23.5	branches and shouted Hosanna as he came into the city of Jerusalem. But within a week, these same
1:30.3	people would be saying, crucify him. Why did they turn on him so suddenly? Because they thought
1:37.3	that Jesus was going to deliver them politically and militarily. But Jesus had a higher purpose, and the people missed it. As we continue the story
1:47.6	in John Chapter 12, Jesus is explaining the purpose of his ministry to some Greek men that came
1:54.3	to see him. With our study, here now is Pastor John. Tell those Greeks, They want to see me a popular controversial personality.
2:05.6	They want to hear me as a powerful philosopher or orator. You tell them. Tell them this.
2:13.6	Only in light of my death and burial and resurrection and multiplication will they really see me.
