In our study through the book of John, we come to the beginning of the end.

We are at the beginning of the final week of the life of Jesus here on earth. Today we will see the triumphal entry

of Jesus into the city of Jerusalem, and this is not just a chance event. In fact, this day of

the triumphal entry was prophesied specifically by the

prophet Daniel. Let's join Pastor John as he explains the significance of this important event.

It was Sunday the 10th day of Nissan, or by our calendar, the 6th day of April, four days before the feast of the Passover.

Consequently, according to the book of Exodus, that 10th day of Nissan was the time in which each and every family that was

celebrating the Passover would choose their lamb. A lamb for each and every household, a lamb for each

and every family. And they would take that lamb and each and every family.

And they would take that lamb and have it inspected.

From the 10th day of Nissan until the 14th day of Nissan, that lamb was closely watched

to make sure that it was in the best of health and there was no flaw nor blemish found therein.
