On the past couple of Searchlight programs, we have been looking at the remarkable story

of Lazarus in

John Chapter 11. We know that this story is remarkable because Jesus raises Lazarus from the

dead, but there is much more to the story. In our prior programs, we saw that Jesus delayed coming

to help Lazarus so long that Lazarus died. To some,

it seemed that Jesus didn't care and wasn't willing to help. But that wasn't the case at all.

Jesus had a higher purpose in delaying. And today, we will see that purpose being fulfilled.

Let's now join Pastor John for the conclusion to this teaching as we gain an understanding

of the greater purposes of God's ways.

I believe he was weeping also because perhaps he knew he was going to pull Lazarus out of paradise and bring him back to this planet.

Oh, poor Lazarus.
