was an opportunity to play for a team that I had grown up just seeing on television.

You know, we had a good group of guys, good teammates.

We fought hard. We didn't have the greatest record in the world.

But the people enjoyed us. They backed us. They cheered for us because each and every week we went out and laid it on the line and entertained them, played as hard as we could.

Sonny Jurgensen passed away at the age of 91 years old.

We are remembering Sonny, In my opinion, the most beloved

athlete

pretty close. If he's not at the top,

he's right there in the

history of this town.

Certainly in the 1980s,

if you took that poll,

Sonny would be number one.

And we're missing him right now on the air.

And somebody to remember Sonny and played with him.

And of course, knew him very well over the years with both of them,

giants in the broadcast industry, you know, after Joe's career as well as Joe Thysman,

joining us right now.

So your reaction to hearing that Sonny passed away.
