talking about something really important, the difference between holding two truths and one truth

and one lie. There's a difference there, super important. The distinction is a big deal because

it's crucial to believers and secular culture has tried to hijack the idea altogether.

That's a twist that's pretty confusing.

So we need to know all about that, really important stuff.

That first chapter is called accepting something you wish for something different.

And in it I talk about three acceptance problems

that we have that block us in our life, one of which is the problem of not being willing or able

to accept that two things can be true at the same time. So we live with the demand then that only one

thing is true at a time and that wildly hinders us.

It's crucial, for instance, to our entire ability to believe that good things can also be hard.

Because if both can't be true, like for instance, well, this was or is hard, but God can also use it for my good.

This was something I never wanted, but God can redeem it.
